Cookie Policy Scrada
Version 2.1, 27.10.2026
We believe it is important that you can read, watch, listen to or experience our content anywhere and at any time through various media platforms. To make this possible, our website uses cookies, scripts, logs, pixels, plug-ins and trackers, which we refer to collectively below as ‘cookies’.
In this cookie policy we inform you about which cookies we use, for which purposes, what happens to the data collected and how you can manage their use. This allows us to tailor our services to your privacy preferences.
This cookie policy applies to www.scrada.be and to our support centre support.scrada.be. We also clearly indicate when we pass cookies on to third parties and under which conditions. Please note: when you follow a link to an external website, a different privacy and cookie policy applies.
Scrada is responsible for this cookie policy. Because cookies contain personal data, you can also exercise the rights that apply under privacy legislation. You will find how to contact us easily at the bottom of this page under contact details (see point 6).
1. What are cookies, scripts, logs, pixels, plug-ins and trackers (‘cookies’)?
This website uses cookies.
Cookies are small data or text files that websites place on your computer, tablet or smartphone.
They make it possible to recognise your web browser or device and keep track of data about your browsing behaviour. In this way we remember, for example, how the website can be displayed correctly on your device and which choices you have made, and we measure how the website is used. We use them to collect all kinds of statistics about the use and the users of our website(s) and online services. Some cookies are our own, others come from third parties.
We use both temporary cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and cookies that are used to identify you on a next visit.
In the section ‘Which cookies do we use?’ we describe in detail which types of cookies we use, for what purpose, on what basis, how long we keep them on our servers and whether or not they are passed on to third parties.
The following technologies are also covered by this cookie policy:
- Scripts: a series of instructions that performs a task on our website, for example to store and process data from a form on our server. Your web browser can block certain scripts. This may cause our website to stop working or to be displayed incorrectly in your web browser.
- Logs: files that record user information such as your IP address, browser type, internet service provider, the website that referred you to our website, date, time and number of mouse clicks. They allow us to manage the website, store your browsing behaviour, identify trends and, for example, make our website more useful by looking at how users find our website and which pages are used most.
- Iframes: a frame we use to display external content on our website, such as YouTube videos.
- Plug-ins: pieces of software that extend the functionality of the website and that come from third parties.
- Trackers: technology that tracks your online behaviour across websites, such as which websites you visit, which actions you take and which information you enter on these websites, for example your bank card use, your search terms or the content of your social media profiles, which can then be used to infer personality traits. Certain cookies and pixels are examples of trackers.
- Pixels: small invisible images that allow us to collect certain information about the use of the website, such as the number of users who visit a particular page.
